The Tent of Modern Film Theatre San Pedro del Pinatar hosted the XI meeting of lace / bobbin years, organized by the Association of Amas de Casa de la location with the collaboration of the Department of Culture and Celebration, the activity was attended by over one hundred artisans / os in towns such as La Union, La Palma, La Mota de Torrevieja, Murcia, San Miguel de Salinas San Pedro del Pinatar and others.
This beautiful and intricate craftsmanship was simple in the skillful hands of women and some men that with pads, rolls and pins to secure the crossings of guides, links, twists and loops, exposed the masterfully created pieces that also this day gives artists the rolls, the opportunity to network with peers / os who share the same concerns and experiences.
Large crowd visited the meeting to see the works that pass from generation to generation and verification of this hobby laborious dating back to XVI century.
