Paula Pujante, new Junior Queen of the Patron Saint Festivities of San Pedro del Pinatar (17/06/2018)

The Park of the Aduana hosted last night the gala of Election and Coronation of the Junior Queen of the festivities 2018 that included novelties and surprises as videos of presentation of the candidates, the performance of the equilibrist Ivo Stankow and the end of party by Paco Arrojo, Naím Thomas and Mireia Montávez.

San Pedro del Pinatar celebrated last night, June 16, the Gala of Election and Coronation, in which Paula Pujante was proclaimed Junior Queen of the patron saint festivities 2018, accompanied by her court of honor formed by eight ladies.

The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez, the councilman of Celebrations, Javier Castejón, members of the Municipal Corporation, and hundreds of relatives, friends and neighbors, filled the Customs Park in a gala that introduced novelties, giving greater prominence to the young candidates with presentation videos in which they presented themselves to the public.

The act began after 23:00 with the magnificent performance of the tightrope walker and showman Ivo Stankow, which gave way to the entrance of the nine candidates for Queen of the Festivities, who climbed the stage dressed for the first time.

As luck would have it, an excited Paula Pujante opened the ball with the role of "Reina".

The young woman will be accompanied in her reign by the ladies Julia Aguado, Mónica Escudero, Fátima González, María del Mar Heredia, Andrea López, Ángela Martínez, Paula Pérez and Elena Rubio.

The already proclaimed Queen and her ladies returned to the stage, dressed this time in the same dress that identifies them as the Juvenile Court of the Patron Saint Festivities, at which time she was crowned by outgoing Queen Marta Henarejos, and subsequently all received a detail of hands of the mayor and the council.

A castle of fireworks and the traditional waltz with his companions officially closed the gala to make way for the performances of Naím Thomas, Paco Arrojo and Mireia Montávez.
