The City Council of San Pedro del Pinatar has approved today in the Governing Board the adhesion to the collaboration agreement between the Autonomous Community of the region of Murcia through the Ministry of Presidency and Development and the federation of Municipalities of the region, for participation in the Mortgage and Housing Counseling and Mediation Service to facilitate that people who are in a situation of serious need and lack of access to a Mortgage Counseling and Mediation Service with credit institutions in order to avoid eviction proceedings.
At another point, the paving and pavement improvement works have been agreed on at Lo Pagán, among other streets the Poeta Eduardo Flores, Marqués de Santillana, POS 2018-2019, will act, with the possibility of work units as improvement, for amount of 354,152 euros.
PROJECT OF RENEWAL AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE SANITATION NETWORK
Among the points discussed today, the Governing Board has approved the project of renovation and improvement of the network of sanitation and supply in different areas of the municipality, the first phase will be carried out in the area of ​​Villananitos and Los Cuarteros, for the elimination of pipelines of lead and fiber cement through the installation of ductile and pvc function pipes, hydrant installation and substitution of lead household connections.

CONCURSIONS AND PARTICIPATION BASES
In addition, the Board agreed to the convocation and approval of the bases of the fourth edition of the nativity scenes and Christmas showcase for this year, organized by the Department of Celebrations with the aim of preserving the traditions and customs related to these dates, as well as boost local commerce.
Thus, the Fourth Christmas Showcase Contest will reward those businesses that bring Christmas to their premises, under artistic, technical and originality criteria.
The best showcase will receive 250 euros, while the second prize consists of 150 euros and the third prize of 100 euros.
On the other hand, the winner of the crib contest will also receive a prize of 250 euros, while the second will receive 150 euros, the third 100 euros and will also be awarded 100 euros to the best family nativity scene.
The jury will be formed by the festival commission, which will visit participating merchants and nativity scenes from December 17 until January 5, 2019.
Those interested in both contest can register in the Department of Celebrations (3rd floor of the City) or the Center for Leisure and Emerging Arts and consult the bases on the web portal of the town hall.
On the other hand, the regulatory bases of the 2019 Carnival Parade, which will be held on March 3, have also been approved, so that interested parties can register in the Department of Celebrations (3rd floor of the City Council) or in the Leisure Center and Emerging Arts.
The sum of the premos rises this year to 3,500 euros to be delivered to the winning comparsas at the Gala held after the parade.
