The members of the homes of pensioner Raimundo Benedicto and José Espinosa have begun the celebration of the Christmas celebrations with the inauguration of the cribs in both centers and the carols of the Voces Doradas choir.
The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez, and the councilor for Social Policy, Francisca Pelegrín, accompanied by members of the Government Team, have welcomed Christmas at home Raimundo Benedicto (San pedro del Pinatar) and José Espinosa (Lo Pagán), together with their presidents, Mª Cleofe Pascual and Pedro Vicente Sánchez, respectively.
Both acts have been enlivened by the choir of the Voces Doradas homes, which has played several popular Christmas carols, in front of the cribs of the two centers, before tasting some Christmas sweets.
In addition, the choir has visited the residences of major Villademar and Mensajeros de la Paz this week, and the school New Castelar College, where they have also sung their traditional Christmas carols.
The activities in the homes will be completed with raffles, dances, convivial meals and the Intergenerational Party of grandparents and grandchildren, in which gifts will be given to the children who accompany the members.
