The Ingenio Foundation presents the "Tejiendo futuro" collection in San Pedro del Pinatar (15/12/2018)

The municipal tent hosted last Friday, December 14, a parade that showed the creations of the new collection of this project in which the craftsmanship and tradition of the Aymara women, from Lake Titicaca in Peru, is transformed into a social economy project promoted by the Ingenio Foundation and to which more than 400 women are added.

Through this project, the creations of the women that make up the Association of Aymara Women's Crafts Coordinators, made with natural yarns such as baby alpaca, are exported to different parts of the world.

This work carried out by the Aymara women is carried out through a project created in 2009 and financed by the Ingenio Foundation and the Polytechnic University of Madrid, in order to develop their leadership and planning capacity in face of the challenges that their growth poses. personnel and social development in the Aymara provinces on the shores of Lake Titicaca, in the Puno region, in Peru.

The Ingenio Foundation, led by Camposeven and which has promoted this initiative since its creation, is a non-profit organization created in 2013 by six companies committed to social development and the transmission of knowledge as a way to contribute to the economic well-being of society. .

The companies that are currently part of the Ingenio Foundation are: Biocampo, SLU Camposeven, Interempleo, Jera Avanza, SAT Los Ritas and Villademar Residence.
