Emotional encounter and deaf silence on the night of Holy Thursday After the procession of the Meeting of Jesus with his Blessed Mother in the Street of Bitterness, he was followed by a Penitential Way of the Christ of Forgiveness (19/04/2019)

The Holy Week of Pinar del Rio last night toured the streets of the town with the procession of the Meeting of Jesus with his Blessed Mother in the Street of Bitterness, the procession of Silence, Penitential Way of the Cross of the Christ of Forgiveness.

Thus, the central junction of Avenida Emilio Castelar and Avenida de Las Salinas become every Holy Thursday in Calle de La Amargura, where Jesús Nazareno, escorted by the Roman third, meets his mother, the Blessed Virgin of Los Dolores , before the eyes of San Juan Evangelista and Piadosa Verónica.

It is one of the processions of more emotional and expected, with silence broken by the tear of the arrows to the Christ and the Virgin intoned this time by the pinatarense, Manuel Luzón.

Today, Good Friday, at 20.00 hours is celebrated the most popular procession of the Holy Week Pinatarense, the Holy Burial, in which procession 14 thrones accompanied by hundreds of Nazarenes, brothers, musicians, hand and shelves.
