Coinciding with the Day of the Region of Murcia, celebrated today June 9, San Pedro del Pinatar has closed the fourteenth edition of the Villa de San Pedro del Pinatar Folklore Festival organized by the Peña El Caldero with the collaboration of the City Council of the town in which they have participated.
Thus, this year the festival has had two novelties, the meeting of Cuadrillas that was held this morning with the participation of the Navy squad of Cope de Aguilas, gang of Raiguero de Totana, San Blas de Bullas gang and the group of animeros from Campo de San Juan, El Sabinar and Calar de la Santa.
And the "huertano environment", which during the weekend has been visited by hundreds of people in the Parque de la Aduana who have enjoyed the reproduction of a typical orchard with furniture, utensils, animals, an oven of that era, a garden, etc, with a family that these days has coexisted in the town showing a true huertana stamp with the aim of recreating the true environment of our roots, the atmosphere of the garden of the nineteenth century, as well as the way of life and the work method of our ancestors huertanos.
