The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez, and the representatives of the local station and bookstores have signed an educational cooperation agreement for the 2019-2020 academic year.
The City Council of San Pedro del Pinatar and the Gama, Arco, Various Advertising Workshop, López, Amigos Foundation of the San Pedro Apóstol Educational Center, Copiplus and Mail Pinatar have signed an educational cooperation agreement through which 200 grants will be managed 50 euros for the acquisition of school supplies, for students in the second cycle of early childhood education.
Thus, the Department of Education allocates 10,000 euros to these grants, delivering to the beneficiaries checks of 50 euros that can be exchanged in the collaborating stationery stores or in schools for the school material requested by the schools.
The mayor, Visitación Martínez, explained that this agreement has a double objective, to help the families of Pinatarenses at the beginning of the course and to contribute to the purchase of school supplies in local commerce.
In this regard, he thanked the local stationery for the proper functioning of these grants, a procedure that has been consolidated and improved over the past few years.
This measure is part of the educational aid program for the 2019-2020 academic year, which is endowed with a total of 42,000 euros for early childhood education, mobility of university students, training courses that study in the municipality, excellent students and for the Municipal Book Bank.
