San Pedro celebrates Palm Sunday with the processions of Las Palmas and Jesus Triumphant (21/03/2016)

The morning processions of Las Palmas, in San Pedro and Lo Pagan, gathered hundreds of faithful, who also followed Jesus Triumphant at 17:00.

San Pedro del Pinatar held on Palm Sunday morning with the traditional procession of Las Palmas, which departed from the Constitution Square, opposite the church of St. Peter the Apostle, around 11:15 hours, after the blessing of the palms and olive branches.

Hundreds of faithful, among which was the large presence of children, moved in procession to the church of the Holy Trinity, where the Mass of the Palms was held, accompanied by the band of bugles and drums of the Brotherhood of Christ of Forgiveness , the parish priest of the municipality, representatives of the Municipal Corporation and the General council of Holy Week, among others.

Lo Pagán also held the procession on Palm Sunday a procession processional from the residence of the Franciscan Sisters to the church of Nuestra Señora del Carmen.
