Cristina Gómez Jiménez, winner of the prestigious German Junior Open squash in the U19 category, played from 3 to 5 March in Hamburg (Germany).
Cristina moved to German lands to try to revalidate the title obtained the previous year in this tournament.
The paddler started as number one seed. On Friday he began his journey in the tournament against the Dutchman Megan Van Drongelen who defeated in 20 minutes by a clear 3 to 0.
In the round of quarters faced the Czech Kristýna Fialová defeating it by identical result.
In the semi-finals he defeated Danish player Sarah Lauridsen in less than 20 minutes.
In the final, Cindy Merlo was waiting for her, which was defeated by another clear 3 to 0. Cristina managed to revalidate the tournament without giving up a single game and proving that she is one of the best junior squash players in the continent.
