The priest and writer Vicente García Hernández presented yesterday, May 23, his latest collection "Piedras Rodadas" in the auditorium of the Center of Tourism Initiatives of San Pedro del Pinatar, accompanied by the mayor of the municipality, Visitación Martínez, writer Francisco Javier Illán, and the book's editor, José Criado.
Numerous neighbors and friends wore the presentation of Vicente García Hernández, who, as the mayor said, is a very dear person in San Pedro del Pinatar since he was pastor of the municipality for ten years.
After Visitation, the writer Francisco javier Illán took the floor to praise the careful work of García Hernández, "so much that it took five years to republish" and advanced an anthology of his work.
For his part, the editor of "Letra Impar", José Criado, highlighted the mystical meaning of the verses that make up "Piedras Rodadas", a book that stands on three fundamental pillars: word, silence and life.
Finally, Vicente García Hernández, who has important awards and prizes, thanked the affection that has always been shown by the Pinatarenses and recited some poems before signing dozens of "Piedras Rodadas".
