The third edition of the Trofeo La Manga, played by 16 base football schools, was based in the town, where more than 400 people from different points of Spain were hosted by players, family members and technical teams
San Pedro del Pinatar hosted this weekend the third edition of the La Manga Trophy, organized by Travel Sport on 17 and 18 June and which involved 32 teams from 16 football schools from the provinces of Murcia, Almeria, Alicante , Albacete, Madrid, Ciudad Real, Valencia and Toledo, in pre-Benjamin cadet categories.
Councilor for Sports, Daniel Pérez highlighted the tourist reach of this event, which resulted in accommodation during the weekend of more than 400 people in hotels in the town.
In addition to the football field Jose Antonio Perez de Lo Pagán, the tournament was played in the sports centers of San Pedro del Pinatar and Pilar de la Horadada, and the football field of San Javier, given the magnitude of the event.
The premises of the Municipal School of Soccer Pinatar obtained the first position in youngest category, while the EFB Almansa was the winner in cadets and in children, the EMF Carro won in alevín, and the small ones of the school of soccer Quina Alvarez in prébejamín .
