The general director of Citizen Security and Emergencies, José Ramón Carrasco, along with the mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitation Martinez, attended on the beach of Lo Pagán to the presentation of the Beach Unit of the Local Police, in charge of watching over The public safety until the month of September along the 12 kilometers of beaches of the locality, for which it will develop prevention and surveillance tasks.
The agents use bicycles as means of transport and are responsible for 10 hours a day, seven days a week, of the surveillance in the sand area, as well as on the seafront.
The unit collaborates with the employees assigned to Plan Copla, which coordinates the General Directorate of Citizen Security and Emergencies, under the Ministry of Presidency and Promotion.
