The patron saint festivities of San Pedro del Pinatar lived their Big Day yesterday with the procession of their patron, who toured the streets of the town accompanied by faithfuls, neighbors, party queens, local authorities, the Band of Drones and drums of the Brotherhood Of the Apostle San Pedro and the municipal music band "Unión Musical".
After the celebration of an Huertan Mass in the church of St. Peter the Apostle, the brotherhoods of the brotherhood of St. Peter the Apostle and a group of members of the Roman Third Hermenegildo Fresneda Pujol, carried the image of the patron who paraded through the urban center of the location.
After the image of the saint, the procession closed the board of the Brotherhood and the mayor of the municipality, Visitation Martinez, accompanied by members of the Municipal Corporation and local authorities.
The day started with the musical target through the streets of the town, at 08:00 hours and continued at 10:30 am with the mass in honor of the patron, officiated by the parish priest of San Javier, Antonio José Palazón, and concelebrated With six other priests linked to the town.
In addition, the Brotherhood of San Pedro Apóstol presented the medals to the new confraternities and two distinctions were awarded to Dolores Escudero Conesa and Norberto Albaladejo Martínez.
The events in honor of the patron were closed with the concert of the municipal band "Unión Musical", directed by Eduardo Maciá Campillo, at 10:30 pm in Plaza de la Constitución, and with the firing of a fireworks Midnight, next to the Church of the Holy Trinity.
