The program MiMarMenor 3.33 includes cinema on the beach every Wednesday, books, show cooking with outstanding chefs, workshop and concerts of historical music and Los Parrandboleros with "La Gran Noche del bolero".
The Mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez, and the director general of the Mar Menor, Antonio Luengo, presented the cultural activities to be carried out in the municipality, framed in the regional program MiMarMenor 3.33.
Visación Martínez explained that this program is a sign that the Mar Menor is alive, not only environmentally, but offers visitors a wide range of activities to enjoy their municipalities.
The mayor added that in San Pedro del Pinatar this cultural program is complemented by the activities organized by the Town Hall such as 40 Pop Beach, which is held on July 20, the Holi Day Party, July 29, the theater festival "Sal de Calle", from 2 to 5 August, in different public spaces, as well as concerts, festivals, sports activities and guided tours, among other proposals.
For his part, Antonio Luengo explained that this program includes a hundred activities that take place in the riparian municipalities from the end of June to August.
On a regular basis, the program includes the visit of the bookstore every Thursday to La Puntica beach, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, in front of the Hotel Neptuno, where I will be loaned more than 74,000 volumes of the Library Regional among which will not only be books, but also comics, music, movies and series.
On Friday, July 21 at 22:00 hours will start the activity "MiMarMenor de Cine", with the projection on the beach of Villananitos de La Historia Interminable.
This place will host every Wednesday and Friday until August 18 diverse classic films for all audiences like Cinema Paradiso, El Principito, Casablanca or La Princesa Prometida, among others.
Inside "MiMarMenor Gastronómico" will be organized three show cooking in the municipality, where simple recipes with products of the zone will be elaborated.
So on July 22, at 10:00 pm, it will be the turn of the presenter Julius Bienert, from the program "22 minutes" of Canal Cocina in the Parque Reyes de España de Lo Pagán;
On August 11, at the same time, La Mota Beach will host the gastronomic demonstration by Manuel, the young chef winning the second edition of MasterChef Junior.
On August 19, the show cooking will return to the Reyes Park of Spain by the hand of Julio Velandrino, of the Restaurant Taúlla and participant of topchef accompanied by a cook of the area.
In addition, on August 3 a gastronomic visit, called "La Ruta de la Sal", with departure in the port Marina of Las Salinas, which includes a boat route to know the Mar Menor and a tasting of products of the zone .
This extensive program also includes the dissemination of ancient music, which will come from the hand of Ãliber Ensemble and Pretérito Imperfecto, which will hold didactic workshops and concerts on July 26 and August 9, respectively, at the Barón de Benifayó Museum in San Pedro Of Pinatar.
Also in "MiMarMenor de Música", the park of La Aduana, in San Pedro del Pinatar, will host on August 16, from 22:00 hours, the concert "The Great Night of Bolero", by the Parrandboleros.
