This program of the Department of Equality includes during the last quarter of the year various activities aimed at the promotion of new technologies, health promotion, road safety and prevention, etc.
The Councilor for Equality, Guadalupe García, today presented the programming of the cycle "Entre Nosotras" for the new course, which in this quarter includes talks and workshops in different areas.
Thus, the program, which takes place every Wednesday at 10:00 in the Center for Equality and Social Services Agustina Santiago, will begin the next 11 and October 18 with the "Discover your talent inside", the hand of Emociona2, experts in emotional intelligence, leadership and team coaching.
On October 25 the season of the reading club "Salicornia" will begin, which will also meet on November 22.
On the other hand, on November 8 the Civil Guard will give the talk "Prevention of scams and abuse" and on the 15th will treat the benefits of foot reflexology.
In the face of the Christmas holidays two culinary days will be held, which will start on Wednesday, November 29 with a baking workshop in the bakery José Antonio de Lo Pagán and continue on December 13 with a talk on special Christmas recipes, in charge of Manoli De Miguel.
The activities between Us will close the quarter with a day of coexistence on December 20.
In addition to this program, the council continues this course with the classroom of active training, to bring new technologies to women and to minimize the digital divide.
In addition, this course starts the new project "Iguálate", which will start with the workshop ¡Empléate ya !, a space for the development of actions that entails the activation of the principle of equality from the social, educational, work, cultural and personal.
The Department of Equality develops various programs and services that last year included a 30 free activities in which 380 people participated.
