Children's activities, parades and horror stories make up Halloween programming (23/10/2017)

The Department of Festivities and Youth has planned for the "Night of Witches" musical performances, a night of horror stories, workshops and activities for the little ones and a themed craft market.

The Councilor of Celebrations and Youth of San Pedro del Pinatar, Javier Castejón, has presented the programming of Halloween 2017, which will take place in the squares of Spain, the Constitution and the Baron de Benifayó museum from 28 to 31 October.

Javier Castejón has highlighted that this year has expanded the Halloween programming, usually aimed at children, adult audiences, with new proposals.

The program will start on Saturday, October 28, with the special Halloween market, from 12:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 22:00 hours, which will have about thirty craft stalls such as costume jewelery, leather , candy, wood, glass, etc ... The market, which will also include theatricals with terrifying characters, will be open until Tuesday 31 October between the squares of Spain and the Constitution.

On Saturday 28 workshops will also be held for the little ones, pintacaras, from 12:00 to 14:00 hours and elaboration of bloody candles, from 18:00 to 20:00 hours.

As a novelty this year, and aimed at a more youthful audience, will also install a tent in the Plaza de la Constitución with special wii console Halloween games.

On Sunday, October 28, there will be workshops for children and at 18:00 hours will be the musical "Truco or deal" with Disney characters and popcorn will be distributed among the attendees.

The activities will conclude on 31 October with a parade, at 19:00 hours, by Ballet Kebanna, from the fishermen's neighborhood to the Plaza de la Constitución, where there will also be a pumpkin decoration workshop.

The children who come disguised to the square on October 31 will receive a gift from the Department of Youth and Celebrations.

In addition, the museum Barón de Benifayó will host from 8:30 pm an evening of Stories of Terror, which will present the book "The island and other stories", Franciso Javier Illán, with passages theatralized by María Luisa Goanzález and Jessica Hidalgo.

In addition, attendees will have micro open to participate in this magical night and the activity will conclude with a popular Burn.

On the other hand, the parish has also organized Holywins feast, which will include various activities for children and gymkana by the municipality, from 17:00 hours in the parking lot of Emilio Castelar Avenue.
