The Councilor for Sports, Daniel Perez, and the Sports Director, José Ramón Moya, today presented the second day of the Regional League of Field through, to be held next Sunday, December 2, at the municipal cross track and that will congregate more than 800 runners.
The councilman of Sports has appreciated the confidence of the Murcian Athletics Federation in the municipality and its sports facilities for the celebration of this test, also recalled that, since its launch a year ago, the municipal cross circuit, illuminated and With a closed route of 1,000 meters, it has grown and improved its services and facilities, housing different official athletics and mountain bike tests.
For his part, José Ramón Moya explained that the day will run from 09:00 to 14:00 and will include three types of circuit, adapted to different ages and categories, with distances between 500 meters and 10 kilometers.
Participate in this test, organized by the Murcian Athletics Federation and the City of San Pedro del Pinatar, 800 athletes of all ages, from six years in the categories male and female sub 8, sub12, sub14, sub16, sub18, sub20, sub23, senior, M34, M40, M45, M50, M55, M60 and M65, in addition to popular runners.
In this regard, José Ramón Moya recalled that the test is mainly aimed at federated runners but that in recent editions have also opened registrations to popular runners so they can enjoy this event.
