The Coral Patnia founded in 2008 and directed since then by Luís Egío, and the choir of the IES Dos Mares, which last November was selected to perform in Caravaca on the occasion of Saint Cecilia's Day, was offered last night at the Church of the Most Holy Trinidad, a Christmas concert for the benefit of Cáritas where the large public could collaborate with food or through a solidarity piggy bank.
The choir of IES DOS MARES, which participates in the "Cantemus" program of the Region of Murcia and which is also directed by Luís Egío Vallejo, is made up of students from 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th of ESO and 1st of Bachillerato and chose subjects R. Rodgers, P. Michel, J. Hisaishi and T. Gummesson.
Patnia offered a varied repertoire sprinkled with popular Christmas carols before ending the concert with a joint performance where we enjoyed the Christmas atmosphere to the sound of We Are the World by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie and the carol Joy Alegría.
