The Councilor for Sports of San Pedro del Pinatar, Javier Castejón, along with the representatives of the club 30740, Esther Díaz and Behrooz Ziaiamadi, today presented the sporting events that the municipality will host this weekend, such as the tenth edition of the Marine Triathlon of Las Salinas, scoring in the megaliga of the regional federation, and the regional championship of badminton.

The Marina de Las Salinas will host the local triathlon competition in sprint mode on Saturday, April 14, starting at 5:00 p.m.

The X Marina de las Salinas Triathlon, which is scoring for the Triathlon League and Megaliga of the Regional Federation, will bring together a total of 270 participants who will travel 750 meters of swimming, 21 kilometers of cycling and 5 kilometers of running. , within the framework of the Salinas and Arenales Regional Park of San Pedro del Pinatar, taking exit at Playa de la Llana and ending at the Marina de las Salinas Marina, from Cadete to Veterans 3, in addition to the Absolute Category in both ladies and in men.

The event is organized by the Club 30740, with the collaboration of the Murcian Triathlon Federation and the City Council, and sponsored by the Marina de las Salinas Marina Dársena, and the local trade Fitness and Nutrition Rodro Meiyo.

Registration can be done on the web wwww.trimurcia.org until today at 8:00 pm, with a price of 25 euros for federated and 10 additional euros for non-federated.

In addition to this event, on Saturday, April 14, the Prince of Asturias municipal pavilion will host the Regional Badminton Championship for junior and senior categories, from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Organizational expects a participation of close to 150 players, representing clubs from different points of the region, which will play more than 170 meetings to get the regional title of each category from Sub-11 to Senior.

The host and organizer of the event will be the 30740 Club Deportivo along with the Federation of Badminton of the Region of Murcia, in collaboration with the Department of Sports.
