This initiative arises jointly from the departments of Commerce and Industry and Employment, Training and Tourism with the aim of improving the sector's competitiveness and strengthen the local business community.
The Municipality of San Pedro del Pinatar has launched the creation of a business census, under the action program with local businesses.
This initiative, which will be developed jointly by the departments of Commerce and Industry, Employment, Training and Tourism is creating a unique and updated directory which will list all companies and establishments in the municipality.
Thus, this census will be a structural database of all companies in the municipality, classified by principal economic activity, status or size, among other criteria.
In addition, this guide will be an agile instrument of contact between local government and business for the dissemination of programs, grants, subsidies, services and training actions that can be accessed.
The census is also the starting point for the coordination and planning of projects that promote business activity in the municipality.
The City Council and aims to be a true and complete local business, and working from the different councils, to enhance competitiveness and strengthen the sector.
The technical staff of the departments involved are visiting each of the establishments and companies in the municipality where they spend an initial questionnaire, the results form the basis of the new census.
