Full UPyD supports two motions to create jobs and support local businesses (02/03/2012)

Councilman UPyD in San Javier, José Luis Ros Medina, filed two motions at its plenary on Thursday afternoon at the San Javier, which have been supported by all groups and unanimously voted in favor.

Councilman UPyD for "the support of the government team is a gesture of political responsibility.

All councilors, government and opposition should work together and paddle together to lead the people of this economic crisis.

This is good news for San Pedro and we stated our intention to continue to work harder. "

Support local businesses

San Javier has the dubious honor of holding the records between the municipalities of the Mar Menor closing of small and medium enterprises and to reduce the number of self in recent years.

Furthermore, the creation of new shopping centers and the possible extension of Dos Mares shopping center make local trade recovery doubly difficult.

Since the council has launched a calendar of fairs Outlet to support local businesses, encourage sales and attract new customers.

In UPyD support this initiative and we are sure it will be a boost for the local economy, but we believe that measures are needed deeper and wider.

The plan submitted by UPyD includes four proposals, two of them particularly innovative: creating a web portal for local businesses including products stores, information, discounts, campaigns, etc. ..

together with a plan for training in new technologies and use local radio as a platform to raise awareness of local businesses with special programming.

Job creation

San Javier has suffered as a few of the tremendous effects of this economic crisis, from 727 unemployed in November 2007 to the catastrophic figure of 2,720 unemployed in November 2011.

In just four years unemployment in the town has grown 374%, triple the national average.

San Javier, being a tourist town, should have been less affected.

In UPyD think that creating jobs is essential that local government and private companies cooperate.

If the government help stimulate and promote private sector activity in the field, eventually, it may provide better public services, since taxes from these companies will result in the benefit of all.

The plan submitted by UPyD action spans multiple lines: to encourage and facilitate recruitment through self-employment and job fair, consider lowering certain taxes to businesses and the self, an ideas competition for entrepreneurs and convert the Leisure Centre and Time Free, that is not largely used in a business incubator.

Councilman magenta was glad to finally begin to sink UPyD a new form of opposition.

"These two motions are a clear example of our concern for solving the economic plight of our town, not the partisan fight.

We believe in supporting what is good, criticize what we think is negative and also make proposals useful and necessary.

It is a great work of many people working in San Javier UPyD. "Said José Luis Ros.
