The City Council makes the splitting and deferral of property taxes (13/06/2012)

The Plenum of the City of San Javier has approved the reform of financial controls to provide greater ease of payment to taxpayers, increasing deferrals and enabling the division from 100 euros

The City of San Javier approved yesterday in the House for the month of June, the modification of tax ordinances to facilitate payment of the debt to taxpayers.

Thus, these amendments reduce from 300 to 100 euros the minimum amount to split the payment of municipal debt and extend the time to liquidate, still three months when the amount ranges between 100 and 300 euros, six months between 300 and 500 euros, and 12 months when the debt exceeds $ 500.

In addition, rises from 1,000 to 3,000 the minimum amount of debt in which the taxpayer must provide a guarantee or warranty.

The mayor, Visitation Martinez explained that this measure "the government team is sensitive to the needs and problems of citizens, responding to their demands, as it will postpone and break up virtually all tax debts owed to the City ".

Martinez said that, among other cases, it will enable a payment of IBI average of around 500 euros, can be settled in 12 months, when the previous deadline was only three months.

The objective of this measure is to reduce the tax burden of the taxpayers of the municipality, offering easy payment for this will be least burdensome possible.

MOTION UPyD and DPI
