The City intensifies garbage collection services and street cleaning during the summer (05/08/2013)

The City of San Pedro del Pinatar increased and improved during the summer the waste collection and street cleaning, in order to guarantee the quality of these services in a period in which the municipality's population reaches triple.

Thus, from June 1 to September 30 is carried waste collection every day of the week, and increases with a turn-up at noon on the streets Campoamor, Salzillo, Marques de Santillana, Poet Eduardo Flores and avenues Generalissimo and the harbor.

Also, from the month of March began strengthening the collection points, with the installation of new containers in the main streets and avenues of increased waste generation Lo Pagan, Los Cuarteros and Villananitos.

As for the collection, also installed new containers and increased frequency of collection during the week on paper and cardboard, containers, and bulky waste collection, household and small pruning.

Moreover, the street cleaning service is reinforced from June 15 to September 15, up from the template that goes from 13 to 25 workers during this period.

This increase in personnel and technical resources results in an increase in the sweeping turns and flushing of streets and sidewalks, and service improvement in the towns of San Pedro, Lo Pagan and Cairn with a catch during the afternoon made up vacuum cleaner, sweeper, blower and a small truck.
