The City of San Pedro del Pinatar maintains the budget last year and incorporates a cooperation agreement with the municipality libraries and special aid to reward excellent students

The City of San Pedro del Pinatar, through the Department of Education, after passing school aid for Local Government will allocate $ 10,000 for early childhood education students, and 5,000 euros for students pursuing vocational training, middle grade or higher, or high school in the municipality.

Also awarded $ 10,000 for students enrolled in vocational training or university studies outside the municipality, along with a special award of 5,000 euros to reward the excellence of those who will start college.

So, be allocated 50 200 euros to aid children's education, 66 aid 75 euros in the case of middle level vocational training or higher or high school sited in the town, 80 of 125 euros for mobility of students and university training courses, and 25 grants of 200 euros dedicated to excellent students.

To request such aid is necessary to be registered at least two years in San Pedro del Pinatar.

Also, the family unit must be current in the payment of municipal taxes exhausted and not bound within the limit set income thresholds.

As required academic requirements, students in intermediate and higher must have passed all the subjects, and college students, except new entrants, shall have successfully completed 80% of the credits in the course above.

For students requiring aid to excellence, academic qualification must be justified by a certificate issued by the secretariat of the institute where have completed high school.

Applications for all grants will be collected and presented to the Department of Education and within instance will run from 9 to 20 September for early childhood education students, and 14 to 25 October at the other educational levels.

The cooperation agreement between the city and township stationery covers only aid to upper secondary school child education, translated into the acquisition of school by students through a document certifying that the student is a beneficiary aid.
