The streets of San Pedro del Pinatar last night welcomed the traditional meeting between Jesus and His Blessed Mother in the Via Dolorosa and, after midnight, the Via Crucis of penitential Christ Forgiveness.
The central intersection of Avenue Emilio Castelar and Avenida de Las Salinas each Holy Thursday become the Street of Bitterness, where Jesus Nazareno, escorted by the Roman third, he meets his mother, the Virgin of Sorrows, to the look of San Juan Evangelista and Godly Veronica.
The Taps bugles and drums give way to a heartfelt bolt, by Manuel Luzon, thrilling the hundreds of attendees and makes the darkness of night breaks, lighting up the street and beginning the solemn procession with the four images.
After midnight begins the Via Crucis, which penitents accompany the image of Christ Forgiveness accompanied only the sound of four drums.
