The Prince of Asturias flag this weekend hosted the World Championship Martial Arts, Sports and Contact Self Defense, organized by the FEAMYDA (Spanish Federation of Martial Arts and DA)

A total of 300 athletes from various parts of Spain, Portugal, Belgium, England, Venezuela, United States and Brazil, competed last Saturday, December 13th at the World Championships Personal Defense Martial Arts, Sports and Contact.

The City Pavilion Prince of Asturias hosted the competition that began with a welcome to the club, delegates and referees and he told in his opening performance of the Musical Union band and folk group Peña El Caldero.

The mayor, Visitation Martinez, inaugurated this event that brought together WTF taekwondo competitions, Semi Contact, Full Contact, Kick Boxing, High contact, personal defense and Random Attacks.

The mayor thanked the organization's choice of San Pedro del Pinatar for holding this championship, welcomed the municipality athletes and representatives of clubs and federations, and highlighted the solidarity aspect of the tournament, because a point was installed to food donation, which would go to Caritas.
