The Plenum of San Pedro supports the National Hydrological Plan and anti-corruption measures proposed by UPyD (20/12/2014)

In the last regular full of San Pedro del Pinatar two motions from proposals that were eventually combined UPyD UPyD, PP and DPi, on water and Hydrological Plan, as well as combating corruption were adopted.

Specifically plenary agreed to support a new National Hydrological Plan and a social price to water in the Region of Murcia implying that "Murcia not take price increases result from the use of desalinated water."

Murcia is the community where more expensive the price of water, namely € 2.5 per cubic meter, when the reduced price of this asset is in communities like La Rioja, where you buy a 1 €.

In this sense, UPyD believes that desalination and water price increases that occur, must be borne by the Budget, like other major infrastructure such as rail.

José Luis Ros, UPyD spokesman in San Pedro, said that "it is unfair that Murcia have to assume such a high price for such a basic right, when up the social situation in our region is so unfortunate."

Similarly, the second of the motions was also traded following the proposal UPyD, which called quickly to adopt anti-corruption measures in parliamentary debate and comprehensive measures for political parties not to include in their lists of convicted and accused, and that Member of them were aware of their tax obligations.

UPyD was "a pioneer in these proposals in Parliament and has been supported on numerous occasions," or as in the case of the debate on immunity, "first has been criticized harshly and then were these critics parties that have endorsed the proposals. "
