This activity, coordinated by the local broadcaster and the Department of Social Binestar, is part of the Municipal Plan for Children and Adolescents, aimed at children in fifth and sixth primary education.
Radio Pinatar studios, located in the House of Culture, host this week a children's radio workshop, aimed at ten children in fifth and sixth grade, who during these days will thoroughly know this means of communication, making a complete magazine With different sections.
The mayor of the town, Visitación Martínez, has been one of those interviewed by the students of this workshop, who have been interested in both current affairs and other personal issues, such as vacations or hobbies of the first mayor.
This free workshop is part of the Municipal Plan for Children and Adolescents, with the aim of promoting their rights in relation to the media and new information technologies.
In addition, it delves into conciliation, since the workshop takes place in a week in which children have not yet joined the school year.
The workshop, taught by the professionals of Radio Pinatar, addresses the role and importance of the media and, in particular, radio, its history and evolution over the decades or the different radio formats, among other content.
