Comercio, Javier Castejón, and Urbanismo, Ángela Gaona, held an informative meeting this week with local merchants to present different measures to support the sector, such as the calendar of promotional campaigns, fairs and routes;
fiscal reforms that directly affect hotel establishments or the creation of a web map of the car parks available in San Pedro.
The Center for Leisure and Emerging Arts hosted this meeting attended by around 50 merchants and entrepreneurs in the town.
The mayor informed of the measures coordinated by the different councils aimed at promoting and supporting local commerce.
Thus, the Councilor for Commerce detailed the next promotional campaigns that are carried out in collaboration with the Union of Pinatarenses Businessmen with the aim of promoting purchases in the town, in addition to the calendar of trade fairs and other initiatives to boost the sector.
For his part, the mayor of the Treasury detailed the modification of the Fiscal Ordinances for the next fiscal year, which translates into the reduction of five municipal taxes and taxes, among which the 99% bonus of the Public Road Occupancy Rate stands out. for chairs and tables, which will mean significant savings for the hospitality sector.
In addition, the Councilor for Urban Planning and Local Police, Ángela Gaona reported on the web map "parking in San Pedro", an application included in the local website and that allows you to see, interactively, the parking lots that exist in the municipality , both in the urban center, as in Lo Pagán and those deterrents on access roads to the town.
