The City Council has made a free bus available to students of primary and primary education in all public schools in the town so that they can travel to the school canteen service offered in Las Esperanzas.
The school canteen service has started this week in San Pedro del Pinatar with children from the different public centers of the town.
This initiative, promoted by the Department of Education, aims to favor family reconciliation measures, making this service more accessible to the entire educational community of the municipality.
Thus, after collecting applications during the summer period, the City Council has launched a free bus service that picks up children from different schools to the dining room of Las Esperanzas School, where this service is offered.
The Councilor for Education, Carmen María López, has verified this week the reception of this measure among the families of the town, who demanded the expansion of the dining room service.
During this school year, various measures have been taken to improve family and work reconciliation, such as the reinforcement of the morning classroom service and the extension of places from 0 to 3 years, with the opening of a new nursery school.
