The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez, and the director of the Hotel Thalasia, José Catalá, signed a collaboration agreement for the development of a cycle of workshops on free health and well-being that will be developed in these facilities.

Hotel Thalasia today hosted the first session of the workshops for free Health and Wellness, coordinated by the City Council of San Pedro del Pinatar, Hotel Thalasia, and the Ippo physiotherapy group.

These workshops will address how to improve the day-to-day life of people suffering from pathologies such as osteoporosis, osteoarthritis or fibromyalgia, as well as giving clues to improve our quality of life through healthy habits.

The workshops have started today with a day focused on osteoporosis.

Thus, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. free bone densitometry will be performed and from 5:30 p.m. a conference will be held, in collaboration with Fhoemo, Hispanic Foundation of Osteoporosis and Bone Metabolic Diseases.

This cycle will be completed on Saturday, December 7, with a Nordic walking workshop, from 09:00 to 10:00 hours and bull on the strengthening of the pelvic floor from 11:00 to 13:00 hours, at the Thalasia hotel.

On Saturday, January 18, the benefits of intelligent nutrition will be addressed and on February 29 an activity will be conducted for the little ones, where it will be explained how to stimulate children's skills with water play.

Other pathologies that will focus this first cycle of workshops will be osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia, a disease that has been worked and studied in Thalasia for years in collaboration with the local association Asenfinfa.

The workshops will conclude on June 27, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with a day on first aid.

The Councilor for Tourism, Silvia Egea, the head of physiotherapy at the Thalasia and Ippo hotel, Pablo Olabe, and the manager of Fhoemo in the Region, Rafael Herrero.
