Los Antolinos public school hosts this week a meeting between the participants of their first Erasmus + project, called "Up in the clouds", and in which they participate with centers in Spain, Northern Ireland, Turkey, Italy and Poland.
The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez, and the Councilor for Education, Carmen María López, have received the delegation of 22 professors from the centers participating in the Erasmus + project "Up in the clouds" and who visit this week the municipality at the hands of the Los Antolinos school.
The objective of the project is to exchange good educational practices with other schools in Europe to prepare students to develop in an increasingly technological and globalized world, through the use of different tools and technological platforms, while teachers share these experiences in the cloud .
Another of the purposes of this project is to know the traditions and cultural diversity of the five countries involved in the project, with visits to all participating centers during the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 courses.
Thus, teachers in Los Antolinos already visited the St. Ronan's Primary School in Northern Ireland in November.
During their stay in San Pedro del Pinatar, this group of teachers will carry out various activities and visits, both in the school itself, with the students, as well as outside the center, to introduce them to the municipality and the Region of Murcia.
In addition to this initiative, Los Antolinos also participates in another project within the framework of Erasmus +, called "Successful Futures Togueter", in which they collaborate with two schools in the United Kingdom, and others in Bulgaria, Greece and Italy.
