The Department of Education has organized this day that aims to bring science to the little ones in a fun way, through manipulation, experimentation, play and teamwork.
The municipal tent, located on the esplanade of Lo Pagán, today hosted the First Day of Child Science, an initiative of the Department of Education, which is part of the activities coordinated with the educational community throughout the course school.
Thus, around 330 third-year students in early childhood education, from eight educational centers, participated today in this conference that aims to bring science to the little ones in a fun way, through manipulation, experience and work team up.
The children have been able to enjoy a planetarium and carry out experiments in various workshops called "The science that explodes", "to the bathtub with cupcakes" and "Water science, viscose and alien!".
This activity has been developed by Educa Ciencia, which carries out scientific dissemination and communication activities adapted to different educational levels throughout the national territory, and taught by astronomers, physicists, chemists, etc.
The Department of Education appreciates the participation of the San Pedro Apóstol, New Castelar College, Los Antolinos, Our Lady of Carmen, Los Pinos, Maspalomas, Villa Alegría and the School of Infant Education n ° 1, in this new proposal.
