The government team of the City Council of San Pedro del Pinatar, chaired by the Mayor, Visitación Martínez, has met this morning with the different heads of municipal services to coordinate the preventive measures to be implemented from the town hall to contain the contagion of the Coronavirus in the next fifteen days to review before any sanitary recommendation and after which, the situation will be reassessed.
Thus, following the guidelines established by the health authorities of the Regional and National Government, and of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces, it is advisable to suspend the events of more than one thousand people and reduce the capacity to a third in those of less than that amount, to avoid proximity and physical contact;
while increasing hygiene and cleaning measures.
It has been agreed, to postpone the celebration of the Patron of the Local Police, the Directorate General of Sports, has suspended during the next 15 days of the competitions of the leagues of school sport and the bingos celebrated in the Homes of Pensioner and the excursion planned by the Department of Social Welfare to the Archena Spa when it involves a displacement.
