OMIC attends 60 consumer inquiries in San Pedro del Pinatar during the Alarm State (22/04/2020)

From the Department of Consumer Affairs warn of possible fraud in this period, so it recommends not to provide personal, health or bank information by phone or email if you are not sure of the sender, and be wary of unexpected visits for alleged repairs or other types of services. The Municipal Office of Citizen Attention (OMIC) of San Pedro del Pinatar maintains the service of attention to the residents of the town during the State of Alarm, a period in which the requests for information and the doubts of 60 consumers have been answered.

In this regard, OMIC advises for claims during the State of Alarm, first send an e-mail or certified letter to the company or establishment and with an acknowledgment of receipt stating the reason for your complaint and claim; together with the document they must accompany the supporting documents, receipts, invoices, etc.

The important thing during this time is to try to reach an agreement with the company or establishment, and in case of not achieving it, once the Alarm State has been raised, the process can be started from the OMIC.
