The San Pedro del Pinatar beach management body defines a contingency plan for the opening of the beaches (25/05/2020)

The mayor, Visitación Martínez, has chaired this technical table made up of personnel from different municipal areas such as Tourism, the Environment, the Local Police and Emergencies or Urban Planning, among others, in charge of analyzing the safety and hygiene measures to take into account during the opening from the beaches in Phase 2. The San Pedro del Pinatar City Council, through the beach management body, today addressed the opening of bathing beaches in phase 2 with a contingency plan aimed at ensuring compliance with the safety and health measures established by the health authorities. After checking the normality on the beaches during this first day, this body has determined that surveillance tasks will be carried out with the usual means, the Local Police and Civil Protection, and the support of the Civil Guard, if necessary, until the start-up of the COPLA plan on June 15.

In addition, the cleaning and maintenance of the beaches will be intensified, which will be carried out daily. The mayor recalled that during this phase 2 you can access the beaches for swimming, making responsible use of them, allowing individual sports and always maintaining a distance of two meters between people. On the other hand, Visitación Martínez recalled that last week the President of the Autonomous Community announced to the coastal municipalities that a protocol of recommendations and good practices will be prepared for all the coastal municipalities.
