To celebrate International Grandfather's Day, the Council for Children and Adolescents of San Pedro del Pinatar, a body made up of children and adolescents from local educational centers, in coordination with the Department of Social Welfare, wanted to highlight the role of the elderly and recognize their bravery during the coronavirus crisis.

For this reason, and due to the impossibility of carrying out other activities due to sanitary measures, the Council has drawn up letters, drawings, posters and postcards with messages of support and affection for the elderly, which they have sent along with some pieces of fruit to the Messenger residences of La Paz and Villademar.
