In the exhibition "Industrias Tárraga, Historia y Legado", we can find a multitude of photographs of the work carried out in the chocolate and coffee factory, as well as packaging, packages and even one of the machines used in it. The multipurpose room of the Barón de Benifayó Museum in San Pedro del Pinatar, hosts an ethnographic exhibition organized by the Department of Culture and the Friends of Museums association that brings together part of the history and legacy of the Tárraga chocolate factory in its almost six decades of history. The exhibition, inaugurated last night by the mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez and also attended by the general director of Mar Menor, Miriam Pérez, the Councilor for Culture, Mari Carmen Guirao, part of the municipal corporation, the director of the Museum and president of the Friends of Museums association, Marcos David Gracia or part of the family of the factory's founder, Antonio Tárraga Escribano, takes us into the aforementioned chocolate factory, showing us, through dozens of photographs, the processes with which for decades In San Pedro del Pinatar one of the best chocolates in the country was manufactured, in tablets that ranged from 100 to 500 grams and even some of them suitable for diabetics. At the inauguration, many of the factory workers were also present, who received, after visiting the exhibition, a gift that included a chocolate bar made by José Antonio bakery and a coffee package recreating the original packaging by coffee Il trovatore. The exhibition can be visited until August 31 during the Museum's usual hours, Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m.
to 2 p.m.
