Joaquin Lopez and Pepe Caracena, victors in races of 7.6 and 13.4 kilometers from Correlimos (02/10/2016)

The fourth edition of Correlimos 13.4 today met more than 580 athletes of all ages and races 13.4 7.6 kilometers and children's evidence, disputed in the port Marina de Las Salinas.

The Marina port of Las Salinas has welcomed this morning at 10:00, off the popular race Stint, including in the Murcia Runing Challenge and has had a large share in its fourth edition, held to coincide with the celebration of World Day of Birds.

The test included two runs, one of 7.6 kilometers and 13.4 kilometers another in which participants could enjoy the uniqueness of the landscape, through natural beaches, salt ponds, mills and the Calcetera Quintin, the weirs, or the mud baths of La Mota.

Likewise, the race was a technical challenge different surfaces to which participants have faced, from asphalt to sand through cobblestone and dirt.

In the test of 7.6 kilometers, the rider Joaquin Lopez Gomez, CD Runtritón Cartagena has been the first to cross the finish line with a time of 27 minutes 07 seconds, followed by Juan Alonso Blas (27 min 16 sec) and Antonio Alloza (27 min 30sec).

In the women this distance the winner was Encarnación López Graña, with a time of 35 minutes 52 seconds, followed by Lorena González (36 min 51seg) and Alicia Gómez Rubio Bella (38 min 53 sec)

In the race of 13.4 kilometers the winner was Pepe Caracena Joy, Sewer of long distance runners with a time of 49 min 19 sec, followed by Jose Juan Jimenez (50 min 47 sec) and Juan Jesus Atencio (51 min 28 sec ).

In the women's top seed it has been Cristina González (57 min 18 sec), followed by Olga Del Solar in second place (59 min 07 sec) and third Beatriz Rios (1 hr 00 min 08 sec).

Around 12:00 hours the spotlight has been for the little ones, who have competed in distances of 100, 650, 1,300 and 1,950 meters in the port facilities Marina de Las Salinas where, after the awards ceremony, by the mayor, Visitation Martinez, the Councillor for Sports, Daniel Perez and manager Marina de Las Salinas, Domingo Macanás;

It has offered a cauldron, carried out by members of the Fishermen's Association, to all participants.
