The beach of Villananitos will host next weekend the second edition of this tournament that will be divided into a day with the base categories and the absolute competition during the afternoon.
Sports Councilor Daniel Pérez and volleyball coordinator Paula Carrión today presented the second edition of Villananitos Beach Voley to be held on May 6 at this beach in the town.
Daniel Pérez has said that this tournament will feature eight fields, in which more than 250 athletes of different ages are expected to participate.
Thus, the tournament will be divided into a day of tomorrow, in which will compete the categories sub 13, sub 15 and sub 17, while the afternoon will be dedicated to the absolute competition for women and men.
Paula Carrión has highlighted the projection of this sport in the locality thanks to the creation of a specific beach volleyball club with more than 20 players and the beach volleyball court of the municipal sports center, which also train children from various sports schools.
The tournament is organized by the Department of Sports, in collaboration with the Belich beach volleyball club San Pedro del Pinatar, and sponsorship of companies Casa Lucrecia, Angelus Pizza and butchery El Kilo and a half.
