The football field of the Municipal Sports Center hosted yesterday the women's football tournament II Memorial José Manuel Gómez Gómez, in which Pinatar Féminas A, Pinatar Féminas B, Torrevieja CF and CFS Puente Tocinos B.
The Memorial kicked off at 6:00 p.m. with a tribute to the family of José Manuel Gómez, in which were attended by Councilor for Sports, Daniel Perez, club president, Jesus Castro, and the four teams that disputed the tournament.
Later, a minute of silence was kept in memory of the one who was manager of the club and one of its main drivers.
Pinatar Féminas works in the promotion and promotion of women's football and already has more than 70 girls and young people who work in three teams, one of them in third division, being a regional reference of this sport.
