The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Jose Garcia, and the councilman of Youth and Trade, Carmen Honrubia, today inaugurated the exhibition on intercultural cuisine which involved five municipal associations and neighbors from Morocco, Argentina, Peru and Ecuador.
Hundreds of people have visited the third edition of the gastronomic show "Delicacies" organized by the Department of Youth and Trade, where they have been able to enjoy free of charge, traditional dishes from different cultures.
The mayor of the municipality, José García, today opened the third edition of this meeting with the councilman of Youth, Carmen Honrubia.
Grupo San Pedro associations, Kalochi Kalo, G +1, Rotary Club and Association Villaenanitos have participated in the meeting with the preparation of dishes such as stews and soups, as well as homemade sweets.
The meeting, held in the parking lot of the central avenue Emilio Castelar, also attended by groups from Morocco, Argentina, Peru and Ecuador, which have been prepared dishes from these countries, aiming to publicize its gastronomic culture residents of San Pedro.

The Department of Youth has organized this event three years ago with the aim of promoting cultural integration, through food, and at the same time, disseminate healthy eating habits, especially among young people, encouraging the consumption of organic and traditional foods, such as those that make the Mediterranean diet.
