When in full on November 2 all political parties reached a tentative agreement to pay creditors of the City companies (which ultimately did not find full funding), it seemed that sanity might make an appearance in this crazy period which for years has been installed in our Town Hall.
But the shameful image offered by our munícipes in full 10/12/2010, playing with the dream of many people of good faith, has returned to the sad reality of our municipal misrule.
I have no doubt that the enormous amount of work to be performed daily municipal services, increased by the number of unnecessary work being created, for which there is no budget to maintain, requires the attendance of staff who can develop such tasks that have not been provided by our rulers, for it seems there is no budget.
As I had the opportunity to meet the press, it seems that the scandal was full of 10/12/2010 to consolidate 28 jobs for persons already employed by previous governments (which does not seem at all bad if were given the legal requirements and there starting to do) and create 117 new positions which, given our economic situation is clearly nonsense and genuine electoral maneuvering of those who, knowing of its impracticality, the raises.
Maneuvers, of course, from the Socialist Party are considering for electoral purposes, and which will undoubtedly happen with intensity in the remainder of the term, so that if the majority opposition denies it appear as guilty, and if be approved by the Mayor who takes the honors.

How can a council with threats to cut off the light for non-payment at the Sports, Culture House and House of the Federation, where he has had to hire generators (which ultimately are more expensive), is proposing to increase its personal expenses, rather than spend the money (if any) to pay the essentials for day to day?
Why instead of going to employ more staff, at a time from across Europe is recommended to cut the running costs of government, not go to the collaboration with INEM to perform the maintenance work would be exempt from Social security and only pay for the worker the difference between what they charge in unemployment and the wage base, as was done in the past from the City Hall and which executed some works that now can not pay for electricity ?
Why not be revised downward the salaries of officials and contractors?, Which now claim more than 2,500 € a month and charge up bonuses often unjustified.
Why keep spending billionaires are holding events, cultural allegedly by hiring low-quality foreign groups, instead of going to local and regional groups which would save more than 50% of the cost?
Why continue to make works of doubtful necessity to stop the game there is no maintenance?
Why not reduce the salaries of politicians and entertainment expenses?
In short, a bad management of our present rulers, a woeful performance of the Popular Party of San Pedro, who failed or refused to take the opportunity thus afforded to exercise the Municipal Government through the motion of censure, which left stranded all residents of San Pedro, and they were banned from serving the role of opposition, and of course makes them unworthy of public confidence Pinatarense, since after leaving more than indebted to our people, refused to try to straighten out the mess.
