The Department of Education will include this service in the Parents Associations (AMPAS) in public schools in the municipality, after acceptance has been among this group in several schools.
The Municipality of San Pedro del Pinatar expand the "school parents" that for three courses developed by the Department of Education.
This program has gained wide acceptance among mothers in the last quarter, in an activity, run by professionals and which have been given tools to deal with everyday problems that arise in the family.
In the weekly talks mothers have tried attitudes that affect their children or family relationship, such as behavior problems, low self-esteem or eating or sleeping disorders, among others.
This program also included a workshop where communicative and expressive skills through games and activities and verbal body language, learned how to release the everyday stress through body language.
Mothers who participated developed a notebook of his experiences, which collected what they learned during these months, and stated that these activities have helped them cope with day to day with optimism and provided them with tools to solve problems more patience and self-esteem.
They have also formed a group in which they feel comfortable and can talk about their concerns as mothers.
