The proposal has been prepared by the technicians of the Department of Youth of San Pedro del Pinatar, in collaboration with three youth associations in the municipality and aims to create a large network with two spaces, one physical and one virtual.
The "Leaving footprint" of the Department of Youth of San Pedro del Pinatar is one of 20 proposals selected to participate in the First State Forum Polític @ s for participation, which organized the Youth Institute of Spain (INJUVE ) in the category of local proposals to be developed.
This forum, to be held from 20 to 22 March in Seville, is intended as a meeting place between local authorities, associations and youth to give value to new technologies as tools for youth participation and help develop innovative initiatives in this regard .
The "Leaving Footprint" proposes the creation of a network of participation and interaction between local government, youth associations and the municipality whose spaces Leisure Centre, Leisure and Emerging Arts, where they operate, and a website that will collect all the shares and will be a forum for information and opinions for users.
The space will feature the collaboration of three municipal associations, Art Tour, which will develop activities related to urban art; Majabuka, to carry out a program of alternative nightlife, and the association G +1, which carried out technology workshops for the creation and launch of the website.
The project also involved two young technicians, a computer technician and a psychologist, who will monitor the activities and workshops will create social issues, both in the center and the network.
The State Forum Polític I @ s for participation, with the collaboration of the Youth Council of Spain and the Spanish Federation of Municipalities, will reward the projects and experiences, using information technologies and communication, promote participation and youth come to the decision-making.
Thus, the jury awarded four grants that will help start or further develop the projects.
These four grants will have a maximum of 20,000, 15,000, 10,000 and 5,000 euros respectively and exclusively, should be used in the financing of programs and projects awarded.
The forum was divided into four panels will focus on projects that local proposals to make, which concurs the project "Leaving Footprint" local programs already underway, proposals for responsible young people, and experiences presented by organizations and youth associations.
