The exhibition on the marine world has concentrated more than 15,000 visitors during its five-day and the event's website with only one month of publication, has surpassed the 4,400 visits.
The Sea World Exhibition, which took place from 4 to 8 April in San Javier, with dozens of activities in Lo Pagan, the Regional Park and the three yacht clubs of the town, has welcomed over 15,000 attendees in its first edition .
The event's website, launched just 28 days ago, has received a total of 4,465 visits and 20,755 pages have been displayed, of which 18.25 percent were foreign users.
As for activities with greater influx of people, restaurants and bars attached to the route of the top seafood served an average of 700 caps, train and boat tour recorded, respectively, 540 and 383 users, while 215 people have attended the talks scheduled, 120 people have participated in guided tours of the park and 118 have enrolled in the Photographic Journey contest.
Water sports are one of the protagonists of the First Sea World Exhibition, takes only contact with the boat sailing and organized by the Department of Sports, participated in around 350 people.
The permanent exhibition of the tent, installed in the concourse, making demonstrations or auction kettle of fish as well as workshops for children or theatrical entertainment shows also concentrated hundreds of people daily.
The tourist information point, located in the courtyard, has met the demands of a total of 1,500 people during the five days of the fair.
Increase in hotel occupancy
The balance sheet of Holy Week in the municipality has been very positive, both in the influx of people at Sea World Exhibition I, and the beaches of the municipality and village processions.
This momentum is reflected in tourist hotel occupancy data, which have reached about 83.24 percent, representing an increase of almost ten points over Easter 2011, in which the occupation was around 74 percent.
