The City of San Javier today approved, in the extraordinary, the change in the fees of the Ordinance regulating fees for rental and use of sports, in order to fit the Adjustment Plan, which already specified the need to balance the costs and revenues gained by these services.
In this regard, Councillor of Finance, Jose Fernandez Andreo, explained that the rate increases have been made taking into account the increase in the CPI since the last modification for each price, the equalization of bond discounts on all installations, the state of facilities and the comparison with the prices offered in neighboring municipalities.
Thus, this increase does not apply to the rental of facilities such as concrete runways, the sports ground, the pediment, the bowling alley, football ground, multipurpose room, the grass football field or the arena of artificial turf.
Nor are modified prices for summer activities such as school or multisport swimming courses for children and adults.
Also new is the requirement to register in the municipal sports schools quarterly periods, quarterly or full seasons rather than monthly in order to ensure the proper functioning of these and that are altered by low mid-season.
Also incorporated new activities and the possibility of partial rental facilities, maintaining the existing discounts and applies a new 50 percent bonus for pensioners and retirees.
Meanwhile, the mayor, Visitation Martinez, has highlighted the need for this increase in rates of sports to meet the obligations of the city Adjustment Plan, committed to the ministry of finance, and has indicated that, in any case, the average increase is about 2 or 3 per month.
