The mayor of San Javier, Martinez Visitation, today explained that the City has planned a special street cleaning and garbage collection during the summer months, especially in areas where the influx of population increases at this time, as Lo Pagan.
So, has indicated that street cleaning has been extended from 15 June to 15 September with eight workers, resulting in an additional afternoon session on the coastline of the municipality and the collection of bins from the promenade three twice daily.
As for garbage collection, the months of July and August provides an additional shift at noon in the streets Avenida del Generalissimo, street poet Eduardo Flores, Marques de Santillana, Avenida Salzillo, Campamor Street and Port Avenue.
This extension of the cleaning operation is also extended to the selective collection, since the collection of glass and plastic is performed three times per week, rather than two, and two containers of paperboard, instead of once a week.
