A total of 20 young people visited last week the interpretive center and nature reserve of Salinas y Arenales de San Pedro, in the framework of the European project "youth correspondents: environmental information points" which develops Santomera City Council and has with the collaboration of the Department of Youth of San Javier.
So, last Friday youth, aged 15 to 23 years, which is housed in the "House of Nature" Santomera traveled to the town to meet Regional Park Salinas and Arenales, accompanied by technical of the Department of Youth and park guides.
This project is included in the EU program "Youth in Action" which aims, among other objectives, to promote European cooperation in the youth field and including youth exchanges for young people from different countries have the possibility of knowing other cultures.
Young people aged 15 to 23 years, this youth exchange participants come from Sweden, Spain and Poland for six days have developed different environmental activities around four themes such as air, water, waste and nature among which was scheduled to visit the Regional Park Salinas and Arenales.
